For this meeting, we are pleased to welcome members from other subsections to join us for a presentation and discussion with PASC (Progressive Alternatives Society of Calgary)

PASC (Progressive Alternatives Society of Calgary) is a Calgary-based organization dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities find meaningful, successful careers. This presentation will introduce you to the principles of supported employment, highlight the benefits of hiring people with disabilities, and provide practical insight into how inclusive workplaces thrive. We’re here to answer any questions you may have about creating opportunities and building accessible, productive teams. We encourage any and all questions either prior or during the presentation.

Diane Gardner-Hoffatt, PASC’s Career Developer, brings a background in teaching and teacher-training, along with years of experience helping individuals discover their vocational pathways. Having lived abroad and managing her own acquired disability, Diane offers both professional expertise and lived experience on workplace accommodations and their impact on success.

Kevin Lippold, a Resource Coordinator with PASC for over 25 years, specializes in employment search and job matching. With a background in marketing and experience as a small business owner, Kevin is passionate about connecting great organizations with talented individuals who have developmental disabilities, ensuring strong, long-term employment relationships.

This session will be hosted virtually over Teams. To foster a more engaging and collaborative virtual environment, we ask that everyone keep their cameras on throughout the session, if circumstances allow.
